Meet the band....

Sam's Bio

Rocking steady since June of 1998, when the band first formed, This Day's End has developed a distinct style of energetic music; carefully blending the backgrounds of each player in a variety of musical styles. As of July, 2003, four independent studio albums have been released, with an approximate total of 400 sales in five different countries.

Chase's Bio

In June of 2003, EPD welcomed back their original bassist and began writing a slew of songs for the next project, which eventually became the first This Day's End record. The effects were immediate. The band is continuing to do what they've always done, writing personal and political tunes with utmost passion. The only difference being that this time, the songwriting process is much more group-oriented and meticulous.

The band played under the name EPD for several years. They covered many venues in several Northwestern cities, with bands from all over North America. The band gained notoriety throughout the Northwest for being musically and lyrically mature for their age; playing countless shows with bands from all over the continent. Most notably, the Warped Tour ('03), Thrice, Tsunami Bomb, Himsa, Face to Face, Against Me!, Thought Riot, and the Movielife.

Chris' Bio

A massive two-month recording session is being planned for the fall of 2004, in which the band will temporarily move to Seattle to live and record with their long time engineer, Eric Munch. This year, the band recorded (locally at Ground Control Studios) a short demo, as well as a live album (at Eugene's own WOW Hall), in order to give listeners a taste of what's to come. It is still largely uncertain what the overall feel of the album will be, but everyone is anxious for the outcome.
